  • ¾ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¾ cup finely chopped celery

  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ¾ cup half-and-half
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 (16 ounces) package potato gnocchi
  • 1 ½ cups chopped cooked chicken
  • ¾ cup shredded fresh spinach
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

PROCEDURE

  • Take a large-sized skillet. Place it on medium flame. Also, add butter and wait until it melts. Cook and stir onion, carrot celery, and carrot until they become soft ( simply cook them for 5 to 10 minutes)
  • Now, add up the flour in the skillet; cook and stir until the flour coats the vegetables evenly and flour becomes fragrant. Moreover, you can cook it for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Now, pour chicken broth and milk; stir the mixture and cook it for 5 minutes until it becomes thick and comes to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and add up gnocchi, spinach, and chicken into the broth mixture.
  • Season the broth with rosemary, salt, nutmeg, and bell pepper.
  • Again cook the soup for about 8 to 10 minutes until the whole gnocchi becomes tender in appearance. Now, this cream of chicken gnocchi soup recipe is ready.
